Style Lager - IPL (India Pale Lager)
Brewed in collaboration with Siren Rock Brewing of Rockwall, TX, this “Cold IPA” style is a showcase of American Hops. Though technically a lager, it is warm-fermented with a Bohemian lager yeast so that the hops may take center stage. The heavy hop bill is balanced out by a strong back bone of rice, corn and German Pilsner malt. The brew is hopped with Centennial and Cascade, providing flavors and aromas of lemon, grapefruit, as well as pine. We then dry-hop towards the end of fermentation with Centennial and Cascade, as well as copious amounts of Cryo Citra hops. The Cryo hops expand the tropical aromatics of peach, passionfruit, guava, and lime. The result is a refreshing, but strong brew, bursting with aroma and flavor.
