Altstadt Lager Beer Brats
INGREDIENTS
4 12 oz Cans Altstadt Lager
1 Large Onion, Diced
10 Bratwurst
2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Pour Altstadt Lager into a large pot or Dutch oven, add diced onion and bring to a boil.
- Add bratwurst, red pepper, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
- Remove bratwurst and set aside. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking the beer and onions until brats are ready to serve.
- Lightly oil preheated grill and cook the bratwurst for 5–10 minutes, turning once.
- Serve bratwurst along with the beer and onions as a topping or side.
